Howdy, Peeragogues!
Happy Sunday! :-)
Charlotte and I had a nice housekeeping meeting today. My notes are below.
= Upcoming Podcast Episode =
We discussed prep for the upcoming podcast episode #13 on "Causal
Layered Analysis". We are in communications with a special guest about
dates that will work in May.
In terms of roles, I will be the Host and Charlotte will be the
Producer. We're looking for volunteers for the following roles. Anyone
interested?
* Episode Producer/s — Works with producer to identify and book guests
& host; gather images, manage creation of slide show/show notes;
manages outreach/promotion.
* Technical Director/s — Manages the “backstage”, including switching
between different on-air views, showing images
* Promoter/s — all hands on deck. This generally happens with regular
announcements, tagging on social media, a central place to find the
links (blog), frequent gentle reminders.
* Researcher/s
Please respond to this email with interest or reach out to me and Charlotte.
As a reminder, the Peeragogy Podcast Checklist is available if you're
curious to learn more about how they work

And you can see more details about the upcoming episode on the Master Schedule

Charlotte also had a good suggestion that we should share a lit review
with the episode, similar to the cool book publishing checklist she
shared as part of her recent "Nuts & Bolts of Publishing Your First
Book" episde of Face The Book

= Past Podcast Episodes =
We discussed how there is an opportunity to promote our existing
podcast episodes more to get more engagement from the audience
If you're on Twitter, please take a look at this promo tweet from me

Looking at the stats for the podcast shows our engagement so far
Does the community have ideas for how we can get more people to
interact with our episodes?
One thing Charlotte mentioned is that consistency can help with
getting more engagement. Like a religous chant or her rowing coach
telling her the same thing daily with her getting it after a certain
number of times. I agree that if we were more consistent with
promotion and putting out episodes it'd help our audience engagemnet.
= Pamphlet =
I said I'm behind on a draft of the first Pamphlet.
= Anticipation Conference 2022 =
We've been accepted as part of the program for this upcoming event in
November and we had preliminary discussions about logistics.
