Hiya, Peeragogues!
Last week we got back to our roots and did a Project Action Review (PAR)
following the Monday meetup. For those unable to join, please see the recap
below!
Attendees: Mary, Cris, Charlotte, Charlie
1 Review the intention: what do we expect to learn or make together?
We learned brb (be right back) = ja já volto in portugese
We learned how to make a heart with just 2 fingers
2 Establish what is happening: what and how are we learning?
Mechanics of the live session, when you look at someone's face it helps
to understand them more than just listening to the audio.
Also with a live session you can ask questions versus just listening
later
Cris feels well received when attending
Connected to Charlotte's approach to collaboartive publishing and
accepting what people are saying and accept the value of it
3 What are some different perspectives on what’s happening?
Every time we meet it's different because different members of
community show up and bring another dynamic
Gives perspective of how things are perceived outside the group, brings
a new understanding of the application of what we're doing and the
relevance to people outside
Maybe think about what is the real intention of this meeting?
Especially if it's always changing? Is it to be present with all the others
and share what's happening in the moment
People shared that it was helpful in the past to see the meeting recaps
emailed
4 What did we learn or change?
We started again doing a Project Action Review to recap what happened
for ourselves and others
5 What else should we change going forward?
Have more courage and be bold to participate, rather than just listen
Putting more attention helps to be more aware of peeragogy and the
methods
Charlie is reminded that he needs to send out calendar series for the
Monday meetups
Charlotte got feedback that peeragogy.org was too text heavy for a
newcomer, maybe we can use more graphics
We'll try to do another one following the meeting today!
